Hey peeps and welcome to a written playthrough of Injustice 2, specifically the Battle Simulator. All I’ve got is time on my side and some sort of annoying perseverance. I can only ride this out at this point.

This is Cheetah’s advanced battle simulator played on very easy. She starts at a level 3.

Fight 1: Atom

Here we are, at the Brother Eye level of the Bat Cave. It’s getting closer to never seeing this stage again.

Atom is usually a pain with his shrinking ability. Thankfully, minus the super move he would hit me with, it wasn’t as horrible as usual. I even managed to hit him while he was small. I don’t know how that was possible but I’m going to take it.

Cheetah’s fighting style isn’t horrible. She has no gadgets, which makes sense. It makes it slightly easier for me to fight with her. Her scratches do decent damage, mostly the one where she launches her opponent in the air. I got a handle on her moves rather well, which never bodes well when talking about the rest of the fights in a simulator.

I used a super move to end the fight.

Fight 2: Robin

The fight started at the Empire Theater front before moving to the Empire Theater Prop Room in Gotham.

I never like fighting AI Robin. He’s always a tough fight. Considering how much I like his move pool when I use him, it makes sense that his AI would be a bitch to fight. It doesn’t help that Cheetah can only use scratches, but at least her character power provides a small buff to those attacks when activated.

I managed a super move and finished the fight.

Fight 3: Doctor Fate

The fight began in the Command Center, went over to the Queen Mother’s Nursery, and back to the Command Center in Atlantis.

Somehow, Doctor Fate got the first hit on me. I don’t know how, but that quickly passed as I scratched the hell out of him. I did manage to block his super move by the skin of Cheetah’s super sharp teeth.

I wasn’t able to use my super move to end the fight. Cheetah leveled up to level 4.

Fight 4: Bane

The fight started in the Rock of Eternity before moving to Black Adam’s Palace in Kahndaq.

There was a challenge attached to this fight to use three light attacks. I completed this challenge with ease. I’m always good with these types of challenges.

Bane got the first hit on me. He also got second, third, and fourth hit. Seriously, the AI really wanted to hit the hell out of me in the beginning. It was hard to get a hit in when he kept juggling me in the air. I managed to get on the ground long enough to beat Bane. There was no super move to end the fight.

Fight 5: Cheetah

This fight took place in Slaughter Swamp.

Even when fighting Cheetah as Cheetah, she’s an easy fight. Since there’s nothing special to Cheetah’s fighting style, the AI wasn’t attacking me in any special way I couldn’t understand. I don’t think that makes sense, but I know what I mean. I never really like fighting the character I’m playing as, but I’ll make an exception for Cheetah.

I used a super move to end the fight.

Fight 6: Green Lantern

The fight took place in Gorilla City.

There was a challenge attached to use two heavy attacks. Once again, another challenge that was easy to complete.

This was the third fight in this simulator where I missed getting the first hit. I don’t know what my problem was in this simulator but I’m not usually bad at getting the first hit. I’ll miss it once in a while, but never this consistently. Luckily, I always make up missing this by thoroughly rinsing my opponent in the fight. Never to the level of a perfect fight, but beating them.

I used a super move to end the fight.

Fight 7: Green Arrow

The fight started at Memorial Station before moving to the Ace o’ Clubs in Metropolis.

For half a second, in the intro dialogue, I kind of thought Oliver was suggesting the Cheetah should become his new babysitter. I understand that it was to illustrate why Dinah wasn’t there to fight as well, but he didn’t need to add in the finding a new sitter part. I know he would never offer it up to Cheetah, but the way it was phrased made it seem that way.

The fight wasn’t anything special. I had a good grasp on Cheetah’s attacks and could do decent damage. The AI never really put up a fight until the second half of the battle. It was like that with most of the battles in the simulator honestly. Not horrible, but it did give a sense of false confidence.

I used a super move to end the match. Cheetah leveled up to level 5.

Fight 8: Brainiac

I had a proud moment in this match. I managed to block one of Brainiac’s major tentacle attacks. I have never seen it happen and did not think it was possible. But it is possible to block the side tentacle attack. I still have no clue how to block the tentacle that comes from the ground and I don’t think there’s a way. Overall, Brainiac wasn’t a super tough opponent, which always makes me wary. I’ve lost to him for a reason. You don’t know how many times in the main campaign alone I had to fight this bitch. I never like it when it’s too easy to beat him.

The Ending

I can’t get over the creepy Brainiac shrunken head. I know that’s at the end of the story, but it’s so creepy. I know she collects things, but did she have to wear it? Other than that, I don’t mind her ending. It fits with her character in that she’s a collector of rare items. I’m sure that Brainiac had many worlds that would fit her requirements so it would make sense that she would want to collect those artifacts. I was rather glad that most of the characters weren’t a factor in her ending. Sometimes, the Superman v. Batman conflict feels stuck into endings that really didn’t need it. While they are the main two, they don’t always need to be lingering in the background of everyones’ endings.

Overall Score: 1,017,825

I’m a little pleased that she managed to at least get over a million. Not good enough for the top five, but that’s an algorithm all on it’s own.

Top Five Ranking of Characters:

  1. Catwoman (1,063,054)
  2. Green Arrow (1,057,829)
  3. Black Canary (1,047,908)
  4. Doctor Fate (1,040,263)
  5. Cyborg (1,030,601)

Until the next battle, where I can get closer to the end of these simulators.
